On September 23, 24, and 29, 2026, Ikasia Technologies held a dissemination event for the Erasmus+ project «DIDACTECH,» structured into two parts aimed at different sectors: the first targeting the technology sector and the second targeting the education sector. Both sessions showcased the key results, resources, and experiences developed throughout the project, with content and approaches tailored to the specific profiles of the participants.

The first part of the event took place on September 23 and 24 at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) and was aimed at the technology sector. Two sessions were held: one for industrial engineering students at the UPV, and another for professors, laboratory technicians, department heads, and the director of the UPV’s Center for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering.

The session for students introduced the DIDACTECH methodology and the operation of the Techlabs to future engineering professionals—some of whom might later participate as instructors in the project’s extracurricular activities. Meanwhile, the session for professors, laboratory technicians, and department heads presented the results and resources developed by DIDACTECH—including the training course—to professionals who could apply these resources in educational and training contexts within the technology field.

The reception of these sessions was very positive. Participants showed great interest in the hands-on learning methodology proposed by DIDACTECH, and particularly in the Techlab methodology. Questions and comments during the sessions reflected a specific interest in how to implement the methodology and utilize the developed resources.

The second part of the event took place on September 29, 2026, at IES Neus Català in Cornellà de Llobregat and was aimed at the education sector. During this session, the project’s key results were presented, and resources developed to foster hands-on learning and engage students with science and technology were unveiled. In particular, the «Women in Science» campaign was introduced to students in the first through fourth years of Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), allowing them to explore its content and initiatives.

The campaign presentation sparked great interest among the students, who participated actively throughout the session. Furthermore, the dissemination of these materials led to a practical application within the school itself: it will use the «Women in Science» campaign resources as part of the «Retrat d’una científica viva!» (Portrait of a Living Female Scientist!) art contest, created at IES Neus Català. Thus, the materials presented at the event can be directly incorporated into a school educational activity, serving as a resource to address the representation and recognition of women scientists through an artistic project.

Overall, the two parts of the event provided an opportunity to present the DIDACTECH results to stakeholders from both the technology and education sectors, demonstrating various ways to utilize the resources and methodology developed by the project.
