ICERI2025 18th annual International Conference of Education, Research and Innovation

ICERI is one of the world’s most established annual conferences in the field of education and technology. From November 10-12, 2025, we had the opportunity to participate virtually in the ICERI2025 international congress to present the E+ “Didactech” project and the methodology created to bring science and technology closer to secondary school students facing barriers through the creation of technology labs (Techlabs).
The congress lasted three days, during which we had the opportunity for hundreds of experts in innovative methodologies, researchers, teachers, academics, and education officials to learn about the project and connect with us.

On September 18, 2025, we held a face-to-face visibility day at the Center for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering of the Universitat Politècnica de València to present the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech» and the Techlabs methodological strategy, which will bring science and technology closer to secondary school students with obstacles in a dynamic way. creative and engaging. In addition, we presented the proposal for the training of the STEM subject of Physics and Chemistry in the Techlabs.
These conferences were aimed at technicians, professors, department heads, directors of the research center and expert researchers. The attendees positively valued both the project and the strategy as well as the advantages of the training proposal for STEM subjects in the Techlabs, as it not only facilitates the training of students, but also does so from a practical and motivating learning.

ACTIVITY 1. On May 5, 2025, members of Redtree Making Projects unveiled the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech», especially the Women in Science campaign to María Abellán, Postdoctoral Researcher in Behavioral Neurobiology.
Thanks to this informal presentation, María has shown her interest in participating in the Women in Science campaign. A campaign that, unlike the previous ones, shows secondary school students the key role that women have today in technology companies or pioneering research centres and leading projects that will change the future of Europe and the world.
ACTIVITY 2. On May 29, 2025, Luis Gómez Estrada, CEO of Ikasia Technologies, met with the director and head of studies of CEIP San Juan de Ribera de Burjassot, to present the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech», especially the initiative for the creation of Techlabs (technological laboratories) in primary and secondary schools.
It was a very interesting meeting, as it laid the foundations for the implementation of the first Techlabs in the educational center.
ACTIVITY 3. In May 2025, Orianna Reyes, a technician at Ikasia Technologies, presented the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech», especially the Women in Science Campaign to Alejandra Lagos Soto, Predoctoral in Science, Technology and Food Management.
Thanks to this informal presentation, Alejandra showed her interest in participating in the Women in Science campaign with the aim of showing secondary school students the key role that women have in science today.
ACTIVITY 4. On May 5, 2025, Laura Gómez Estrada, head of Erasmus Plus projects at Ikasia Technologies and José Luis Gómez Ribelles, promoter of Ikasia Technologies, presented the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech», especially the «Women in Science» campaign to Laura Teruel Biosca, Senior Technician with a PhD at the Center for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering of the UPV.
Thanks to this informal presentation, Laura has shown her interest in participating in the Women in Science campaign. A campaign that, unlike the previous ones, shows secondary school students the key role that women have today in technology companies or pioneering research centres and leading projects that will change the future of Europe and the world.
ACTIVITY 5. On June 10, 2025, Laura Gómez, project manager at Ikasia Technologies, announced the Erasmus Plus «Didactech» project, especially the «Techlab» technological workshops to FAMPA, the Federation of Associations of Parents of Students of the Province of Valencia.
It is a non-profit federation with 42 years of experience whose objective is the defense of public, quality education in Valencian in the province. Currently, they have more than 600 federated AMPAs.
It was an opportunity to propose the creation of free Techlabs in primary and secondary schools in the Valencian Community.
ACTIVITY 6. On June 5, 2025, Luis Gómez Estrada, CEO of Ikasia Technologies, presented the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech», especially the TECHLABS technological workshops to the management team of IES SERPIS, a public education center dependent on the GVA that provides secondary education, baccalaureate and Vocational Training.
This center is committed to quality and continuous improvement, offering learning and tools that allow its students to develop a taste for education, continuity in studies and a reduction in early school leaving.
Thanks to this meeting, the IES Serpis has shown its interest in the implementation of Techlabs in the educational center.
ACTIVITY 7. On June 6, 2025, Luis Gómez Estrada, CEO of Ikasia Technologies, presented the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech», especially the Techlabs technological workshops to the director and the head of teacher training at IES LA CANYADA, a secondary education center.
Thanks to this meeting, the educational center has shown its interest in the implementation of Techlabs in the educational center.
ACTIVITY 8. On June 16, 2025, Laura Gómez Estrada, project manager at Ikasia Technologies, presented the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech», especially the Women in Science campaign to Gloria Gallego-Ferrer, Professor and Principal Investigator of the Center for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering (CBIT) of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) and Group Leader of the Spanish Center for Biomedical Research Network in Bioengineering, Biomaterials and Nanomedicine (Ciber-BBN).
Thanks to this presentation, Gloria has shown her interest in participating in the Women in Science campaign.
ACTIVITY 9. On June 18, 2025, Luis Gómez Estrada, CEO of Ikasia Technologies, presented the Erasmus Plus «Didactech» project, especially the TECHLABS technological workshops to the educational director, the director of administration and the head of studies of Compulsory Secondary Education of the Sagrada Familia School – Patronato de la Juventud Obrera, a reference educational center that is always committed to educational innovation and the highest quality standards. The centre teaches classes from pre-primary to baccalaureate and higher level vocational training cycles.
Thanks to this presentation, the educational center has shown a lot of interest in the implementation of the Techlabs in the educational center.
ACTIVITY 10. On June 16, 2025, Laura Gómez Estrada, project manager at Ikasia Technologies, presented the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech», especially the Women in Science campaign to Júlia Plá, Predoctoral Researcher at the Center for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering of the UPV.
Thanks to this presentation, Júlia has shown her interest in participating in the Women in Science campaign.
ACTIVITY 11. On June 26, 2025, Luis Gómez Estrada, CEO of Ikasia Technologies, presented the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech», especially the TECHLABS technological workshops to the deputy director of IES Joanot Martorell, an educational center of secondary education, baccalaureate and vocational training located in Valencia.
Thanks to this presentation, the educational center has shown a lot of interest in the implementation of the Techlabs in the educational center.
ACTIVITY 12. On 17 June 2025, Laura Gómez Estrada, project manager at Ikasia Technologies, presented the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech», especially the Women in Science campaign, to Sandra Clara Trujillo, postdoctoral researcher at the Joint Nanomedicine Unit of the Príncipe Felipe Research Centre and the UPV.
Thanks to this presentation, Sandra has shown her interest in participating in the Women in Science campaign.
ACTIVITY 13. On July 1, 2025, Luis Gómez Estrada, CEO of Ikasia Technologies, presented the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech» and the initiative for the creation of Techlabs to the teaching staff of CEIP San Juan Ribera de Burjassot.
The attendees showed a lot of interest in the implementation of the Techlabs in the educational center.
ACTIVITY 14. Juliana Oliveira, CEO of Nanopaint, partner of the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech» has presented the project, especially the Women in Science campaign to Dr. Ana Catarina Lima, Postdoctoral Researcher at the Center for Physics and Astronomy of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto and CEO of a technology company.
Thanks to this presentation, Dr. Ana Catarina Lima showed her interest in participating in the Women in Science campaign. In addition, it should be noted that she is the author of a children’s book designed to awaken curiosity and love for science in young people.
ACTIVITY 15. On July 10, 2025 we requested participation in ICERI2025, 18th Annual International Conference on Education, Research and Innovation to virtually present the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech».
This is the ideal conference for professionals, researchers and technologists keen to keep up to date with the latest developments and innovations in education. Last year’s ICERI conference welcomed 900 attendees from all over the world.
ACTIVITY 16. On July 9, 2025, Laura Gómez, project manager at Ikasia Technologies, presented the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech», especially the Women in Science campaign to Carme Julià, graduate in Mathematics, PhD in Computer Science, Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering and Mathematics at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, member of the ASCLEPIUS (Smart Technology for Smart Healthcare) research group. President of the Fundació La Nineta dels Ulls.
Thanks to this presentation, Carme joined the Women in Science campaign.
ACTIVITY 17. On September 1, 2025, José Luis Gómez Ribelles, on behalf of Ikasia Technologies, virtually presented the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech», especially the Women in Science campaign, to Natalia García Giralt, Senior Researcher at CIBER on Frailty and Healthy Aging. Laboratory and project manager of the Musculoskeletal Research Group of the Hospital del Mar Research Institute. Professor of the Department of Genetics, Microbiology and Statistics of the University of Barcelona.
Thanks to this, Natalia showed her interest in participating in the Women in Science campaign and showing all high school students the key role that women have in science.
ACTIVITY 18. On September 2, 2025, José Luis Gómez Ribelles, on behalf of Ikasia Technologies and Laura Gómez Estrada, project manager at Ikasia Technologies, presented the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech», especially the Women in Science campaign to Inma García Briega, Predoctoral Researcher at the Center for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering of the UPV.
Thanks to this, Inma showed her interest in participating in the Women in Science campaign and showing all secondary school students the key role that women have in science.
ACTIVITY 19. On September 2, 2025, José Luis Gómez Ribelles, on behalf of Ikasia Technologies, virtually presented the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech», especially the Women in Science campaign, to Clara Eugenia Plazas Bonilla, Pharmaceutical Chemist and professor in the Department of Pharmacy at the National University of Colombia.
Thanks to this, Clara showed her interest in participating in the Women in Science campaign and showing all high school students the crucial role that women have in science.
ACTIVITY 20. On September 3, 2025, José Luis Gómez Ribelles, on behalf of Ikasia Technologies, virtually presented the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech», especially the Women in Science campaign, to Roser Sabater i Serra, Professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering and researcher at the Center for Biomaterials and Engineering of the Universitat Politècnica de València, PhD in Industrial Engineering from the UPV.
Thanks to this, Roser showed her interest in participating in the Women in Science campaign and showing all high school students the key role that women have in science.
ACTIVITY 21. On September 3, 2025, José Luis Gómez Ribelles, on behalf of Ikasia Technologies, virtually presented the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech», especially the Women in Science campaign to Natalia Alves, Assistant Professor at the University of Minho (Portugal) and Vice President of the Institute for Research in Biomaterials, Biodegradables and Biomimetics (I3Bs) of the University of Minho.
Thanks to this presentation, not only did we manage to make the project visible, but Natalia joined the Women in Science Campaign.
ACTIVITY 22. On September 3, 2025, José Luis Gómez Ribelles, on behalf of Ikasia Technologies, virtually presented the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech», especially the Women in Science campaign to Clarisse Ribeiro, Adjunct Researcher at the Center for Physics of the University of Minho.
Thanks to this presentation, not only did we manage to make the project visible, but Clarisse joined the Women in Science Campaign.

ACTIVITY 23. On September 4, 2025, José Luis Gómez Ribelles, on behalf of Ikasia Technologies, virtually presented the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech», especially the Women in Science campaign, to Lara Milian, Bachelor and Doctor of Pharmacy. Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Valencia. In addition to his work as a teacher, he works mainly on two lines of research: a line of articular cartilage regeneration using tissue engineering techniques in which biomaterials, cells and different growth factors are combined. The other line of research consists of recreating the lung tumour microenvironment by generating spheroids from tumour and stromal cells with the aim of being able to establish pharmacological models that allow the effectiveness of drugs to be tested in a personalised way.

ACTIVITY 24. On September 5th, 2025 la academia IATED accept our participation in ICERI2025, 18th Annual International Conference on Education, Research and Innovation to virtually present the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech».
Participation in this congress will allow us to introduce the Techlabs methodological strategy to hundreds of teachers, researchers, education experts, academics… from more than 60 countries worldwide.
ACTIVITY 25. On September 18, 2025, we held a face-to-face visibility day at the Center for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering of the Universitat Politècnica de València to present the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech» and the Techlabs methodological strategy, which will bring science and technology closer to secondary school students with obstacles in a dynamic way. creative and engaging. On October 21, 2025, Panagiotis Karampelas, director of the 1st Epalgematiko Lykeio Kato Achaias educational center, presented the Erasmus Plus project “Didactech,” specifically the Women in Science campaign, to Sakellaropoulou Theodora, Director of Medical Biopathology at the Microbiology Laboratory of Pyrgos Hospital. Thanks to this presentation, Theodora expressed her interest in participating in the Women in Science campaign and promoting the role of women in science and technology.
ACTIVITY 27. From November 10-12, 2025, we had the opportunity to participate virtually in the ICERI2025 international congress to present the E+ “Didactech” project and the methodology created to bring science and technology
closer to secondary school students facing barriers through the creation of technology labs (Techlabs).
ACTIVITY 28. On October 4, 2025, José Luis Gómez Ribelles, on behalf of Ikasia Technologies, presented the Erasmus Plus Didactech project, especially the Women in Science campaign to Ana Vallés, Professor of the Department of Applied Thermodynamics of the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineering and member of the Center for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering of the Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain).
This bilateral meeting was very positive, as Ana was not only interested in the project, but also wanted to be part of the Women in Science Campaign, thus expanding the campaign’s impact capacity.
ACTIVITY 29. On October 6, 2025, José Luis Gómez Ribelles, on behalf of Ikasia Technologies, presented the Erasmus Plus Didactech project, especially the Women in Science campaign to Elena Amaro, PhD in Biotechnology. Postdoctoral researcher at the UPV’s Center for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering.
This bilateral meeting was very positive, as Ana was not only interested in the project, but also wanted to be part of the Women in Science Campaign, thus expanding the campaign’s impact capacity.
ACTIVITY 30. In November 2025, Laura Gómez, project manager at Ikasia Technologies, presented the E+ «Didactech» project, especially the Women in Science campaign to Elena Marco, a teacher at the IES NEUS CATALÀ educational center, an educational center of maximum complexity located in Cornellà del Llobregat (Barcelona). The figure of Neus Català represents the struggle for the survival of the values of individual and collective dignity and freedom; values that weave our educational ideal: to form dignified and free people.
