On September 4, 2025, José Luis Gómez Ribelles, on behalf of Ikasia Technologies, virtually presented the Erasmus Plus project «Didactech», especially the Women in Science campaign, to Lara Milian, Bachelor and Doctor of Pharmacy. Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Valencia. In addition to his work as a teacher, he works mainly on two lines of research: a line of articular cartilage regeneration using tissue engineering techniques in which biomaterials, cells and different growth factors are combined. The other line of research consists of recreating the lung tumour microenvironment by generating spheroids from tumour and stromal cells with the aim of being able to establish pharmacological models that allow the effectiveness of drugs to be tested in a personalised way.
Thanks to this, Lara showed her interest in participating in the Women in Science campaign and showing all high school students the key role that women have in science.
